Story

All cultures share a universal practice of making wishes whether it's lighting an incense stick or blowing a candle on a birthday. Superstition has it, the stronger you believe it, the more likely it will come true. If strong enough the wish, it can take form into a fortune spirit and follow after the wisher. Though usually invisible to the living, those who have seen them call them Moiraiga.

Name

"Moira": in Greek mythology, the Moira referred to the incarnations of destiny who controlled fate through a metaphorical thread

-- Characteristics

Traits

♦ Not all wishes are made by humans, Moiraiga will borrow traits as their own but of humanoid shape
♦ Around their necks is a tied knot of sorts (like a promise).
If that promise is broken, the knot falls loose and some might lose their heads _{then they just have fun scarying people //slapped}

♦ Moira based on eastern customs will be missing an eye (like a daruma) until the wish is fulfilled

♦ Clothing can vary greatly, changing on where the wish is made

♦ Will take traits based on the how the wish was made
_{this is more of a note for jayo: wheels, tags, incense sticks, candles, bells, ribbons, threads, etc.}
♦ Being spirits, there feet are rather whispy, though so are the area around their necks

Types

There are generally two types of spirits:

♦ blessing - manifested from the good will of the wisher, they are generally more mild and optimistic

♦ misfortune - manifested from the animosity of the wisher, they are mischievous and lack empathy

Care

♦ Feel free to add them as clingy sidekicks to your stories/rp characters~

♦ Order them around to bother and annoy the enemy or rival character
♦ They just need to feed off the emotions of a preexisting character~
